William L. Summers received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in 1973 , his Masters of Science, with OSHA Certificate in 1982 from the University of Miami, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami in 1985. In addition to his extensive experience as a civil litigator, Mr. Summers became a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida in 1977.Mr. Summers is National Coordinating Counsel for the Boy Scouts of America and for Burger King Corporation.  His practice areas include civil litigation, products liability, premises liability, professional liability, franchise law, and child sexual abuse. Mr. Summers is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Florida, including the Trial Bar of the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, Dade County Defense Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Engineering Society and the National Society of Engineers.
